A commissioned work by the Albany Symphony Orchestra with funding by the Andrew W. mellon Foundation, Impresiones y Paisajes features a stunning choreography by virtuoso flamenco dancer Omayra Omaya.
The work is inspired by the writings of poet and playwright Federico García Lorca (1898-1936) and by Lorca’s first book under the same name. Impresiones y Paisajes has the generous support of the Heirs of Federico García Lorca and the Federico García Lorca Foundation in Madrid, Spain.
